Holidays

I really am not keeping up as well as I should. Sorry I will do better next year (ha ha). Well Christmas has already flown by and it was chaotic and wonderful all at the same time. It is quite overwhelming all the "stuff" that we all get each year. This year I must have been really good because my family blessed me with some great stuff. I know that the boys were as good through the year as all the stuff they got represented. They had a blast and have a ton of new stuff and toys to try and wear out. I hate that Vincent's birthday is next month, he will still be playing with his fav christmas toy when he has to add in some new stuff. But I have a few good ideas for him.

Hope all had a wonderful Christmas. I know that I did.

Really I will do better next year.

First Day of Kindergarten

Okay so today Jacob became a big boy. Mike and I walked him to his school where he promptly found his place in the class and became a Kindergartener. I was really proud of him and how he just went in and took charge. He likes his teacher, so far after day one. And no I didn't cry. He was way to excited to shed any tears.

At 3:00 Mike and I walked back up to the school and we picked up our Kidnergartener and he talked about his day all the way home. The weird part was seeing him in line and following the teachers directions and being a big boy, I got teary eyed picking him up. He is such a sweet boy and I pray he keeps true to himself and who he is on the inside as he embarks on the "stressful" life of being a Kindergartener. I have posted some of pics from this morning.

The Inagural Post

Well let me just start with saying that since this is my first post. If you are reading this you probably already know me pretty well. I am married and have 2 sons. Jacob is on the brink of being 6 and Vincent is 2 1/2. They are great kids with very distinctive personalities. Jacob is sweet and sensitive, while Vincent is stubborn and very independent. I have a few friends who blog to keep people they they used to be close to in their lives. I thought that is seemed like a good idea and decided to give a try. Please follow along with my family and enjoy the mahem that comes along with the Martin Family.
